James Mullen, owner of Mullen Insurance and Marketplace Insurance decided to remove a couple walls in his home in Franklin.

 

The hardwood floor you see was bordered by walls dividing the kitchen, dining room and living room.

 

The walls were removed and beams were set into the

second floor joists instead of under the joist in order to not have beams hanging down from the ceiling where the walls once were.

 

Then we set up a grid pattern of Dental Crown molding

throughout the three room ceiling areas to tie the rooms together.

 

We added some sconce lighting on the walls, a few recess ceiling cans, ceiling fans and with the unique decorating done by Cindy Beauregard we ended up with a whole new world of comfort.
